Its been a while

Well, I've been so busy with school lately, that I haven't had much time do anything with my blog. (And the only times I've had spare time to get on the computer, I've been on the Sims 3 haha)We have been working on research papers in my AP English class, which has not been fun. This second semester has already shown itself to be immensly harder than last semester.. grreeat.
Will's mission trip is quickly creeping up. Even though I'll miss him during those ten days, I am VERY proud of him for obeying God. It will only bring more blessings into his life. He leaves the 12th of March and will be gone for 10 days, durinth this time, we will have NO communication. For Valentine's day we got eachother journals. We plan on writing in these at least once a day, as if we were writing to eachother. I think this will help cope with the no communicaiton for 10 days.
Speaking of Valentine's Day, this year Will and I spent it a little different. Friday at lunch we left with the youth to go skiing in Indiana. After stopping only to eat a quick fast-food supper, we got to Indiana at around 10. We rented clothes, got our skis, and all of the other necessities, and headed out to the slopes. Will and I have never been skiing and therefore probably should've gotten lessons.. Will, however, said, "Ah, we'll teach ourselves!". And what at first seemed literally IMPOSSIBLE turned out to be fun, and something Will and I now both love! Sure we fell tons of times at first, but I am so glad I went, and even gladder that Will was there to help me up when I fell! We watched what other people were doing and just copied, and didnt even have to waste money on a lesson. Ha! We even got so good, that pretty soon, people were watching us to help themselves! Which made us feel awesome haha. We left that morning at 4 a.m. and reached Elizebeth town at 5. Exauhsted and sore, we all ate at Cracker Barrel. WE got to Corinth at around lunch time. While most people were going home to sleep, WIll and I weren't finished, we had to go to an 8 year olds birthday party as soon as we got in to town. The following day, Valentine's Day, Will and I saw eachother at Church, and then he came over later that night. All in all it was an incredible weekend!
Its 11 oclock right now, and I am extremly tired, but I will post pictures of the ski trip tommorow, I promise!

2010 already?!

I spent New Years Eve the same way I did last year.. at Will's Aunts (his dad's sisters) house with some of that side of the family. We ate wonderful food, had a small bond fire, and shot fireworks. (More at eachother than anything!)

Will and I before leaving my house
(Aren't we precious?)

Again

Katie, Will's cousin, had a date, and also her best friend, and her boyfriend. Throughout the night I tried to take as many pictures as possible.. but towards the middle of the night Will burnt my coat with a bottle rocket, and my coat was put inside, along with my camera! Being a gentlemen, he took off his jacket and let me wear it for the rest of the night! Thank goodness because it was so cold!

Don't we look like sisters?? (I sure hope we're not!)
Oh.. and Grace's glasses? Her parents got for $2 at Claire's

Isn't she gorgeous?!

Before this picture I said, "Act like ya'll love eachother!" And this is the look Mr. Jeff gave haha

Mrs. Jenny and John Robert.. she would take him home if she could!

We had a great time and I can't wait for next years "party"!

Christmas went by so fast!

Wow!! I can't believe it's over already! This was an awesome Christmas! Will and I exchanged gifts a week early, and he did great! I got a prayer bracelt, a shirt, a Walmart gift card and an Eifel Tower for my room. (He knows me so well!). I got him a Patagonia pullover, a book, and personalized M&Ms with our names and pictures on them! It was great! Since I took the time personally to wrap Will's gifts, it was only fair for me to suggest he do the same. He did, and they were so cute! he even took the time to make bows! I was SO proud! His sweet family also got me a shirt, and some Ed Hardy (sp?) lotion! It smells wonderful! I'll post pictures later, they are at home, and I'm at work.
On Christmas Eve, Will came over for Christmas Eve dinner, along with my grandmother. We had tons of fun and spent the night looking at old photo albums. After Will left, we all went to bed, including Grandmother, she spent the night with us! The next morning I woke to the sound of footsteps downstairs. I woke up Kenzie and all of us kids went into the living room. So many presents! Kenzie got TONS of clothes, a Crayola glow station, Nintendo DS games and accessories, and soo much more. Cody got a new North Face backpack, clothes, his first phone, and lots of other stuff. I got a new camera! I was soo excited because I am the family photographer, and my camera has been broken since this previous summer! I got a Patagonia pullover, like Will's!!, new bare minerals makeup (my life saver), clothes, and a bunch of different random stuff! The living room floor was a mess needless to say!

My "cool" brother waiting on everyone to get ready!

That afternoon we headed down south to visit with my grandparents. We didnt get back untill almost midnight Christmas night, but it was so much fun!

The day after Christmas, Will and I headed to Tupelo to purchase a ... KAYAK!! He's been wanting one for a while now, and now that he got Christmas money, he finally had enough! We got to Dicks, and the one he had wanted was gone, thankfully there was one close to the price of his first choice! We walked around the mall afterwords, then loaded the kayak in Mr. Jeff's truck. On the way home we made a pitstop in Satillo to look at the lights downtown! They were gorgeous!

Oh and I almost forgot! I got the cutest little purse thingy from Will;s little cousin Julie! Whether intended or not, my iPhone fits PERFECTLY in it! Thank you so much sweet Julie!!
I hope EVERYONE had a beautiful Christmas!

New to blogging

Okay, so I recently got rid of facebook, and I have found myself missing it.. why? Not because I can no longer know people's business constantly, but because I miss writing notes, whether it was on under-age drinking or abortions I loved it. Therefore, I am going to take a shot at blogging.. both because I need something to keep me busy and because I simply love to write. So please be patient, it will most definatly take me a while to get used to this!
